Things that I miss from Home

You know, until I went back to the States recently, I couldn’t tell you more than 1 or 2 things that I missed from the US. Now that I am back, I have a list.
I have to preface this by saying that I feel very odd posting this, but so many people have asked me for it, that I decided it was easiest just to post it here. Because postage to Australia is so unbelievably expensive, I am only listing small things or items that don’t weigh a lot:
- Knorr Vegetable Recipe Mix
- Airborne, grapefruit or lemon/lime
- Smoke Seasoning - liquid or powder
- Chipotle - Penzey’s jarred
- Tobasco - Chipotle
- Good Season Italian/Zesty Italian Dressing Packets
- Pentel EnerGel Needle Tip 0.7mm Black Click Top Pens
- Burt’s Bees Lemon Butter Cuticle Cream
- Gold Bond hand cream, Aloe
- Ban Satin Breeze deodorant
- Bath & Body Shop - Japanese Cherry Blossom (Anything)!
- Crystal Light - lemonade or grapefruit
- Lipton Tea to Go mixes - green tea with honey & lemon
- Lipton Cold Brew Tea bags, pitcher or glass
- Constant Comment tea - orange
- Magazines - Oprah, SewStylish, Art News, Art Forum, Art in America

PS - Please keep in mind that of all of the things that people send me from back home, the most precious to me are photographs, digital or printed. They keep me connected and comfort me when I am homesick, so before you spend your hard-earned money, remember that the best things in life are (almost always) free!!!
Have you not gone to USA Foods??? I seriously want to MOVE to Melbourne just to be close to it. A friend brought back two cases of Diet Dr. Pepper from there for me when they went down last year. I’ve yet to actually place any orders from there, but my American stash of food is quickly depleting, so I may break down soon!
Wow - that friend of yours is a definite keeper. You know, I heard about them when I moved here, but had written them off as a place where you get things like jello, candy or odd things - I am so excited because they are actually not too far away and they have Chipotle tobasco and smoke seasoning. And they have KC Masterpeice BBQ sauce. I am going to check them out!
